The Oppo A7 Pro 5G packs an 8,000mAh battery and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera, and Philippine pre-orders for it will end on November 10th, according to an official press release from Oppo.
8,000mAh is its standard battery capacity, same as the Oppo Find X10 flagships. Although, the rated figure is only 7,820mAh, and charging tops out at 45W.
Oppo says the battery on the A7 Pro 5G is durable for up to six years. But the small print on its own product page puts that at more than 80% of capacity left, in a lab simulation of one full charge every 1.3 days.
For selfies the A7 Pro 5G gets a 50MP ultra-wide front camera with a 100-degree view and 0.6x, 1x and 2x framing. The rear cam has a 50MP sensor. Meanwhile, AI Remix Collage adds stickers to your photos, and AI Popout makes collages where subjects seem to step out of the frame.
Oppo rates this phone IP69K against water and dust and calls its shock resistance military-grade. That label rests on drop and impact tests based on MIL-STD-810H, run by testing firm SGS, and a footnote on Oppo’s page says they don’t guarantee a damage-proof phone.
Oppo also says it will stay smooth for five years, a claim it calls 5-Year Smoothness Protection and bases on its own lab testing. That said, its page adds that this doesn’t mean there’s no lag at all.

The Oppo A7 Pro 5G comes in one configuration, 6GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. Pre-orders claimed from November 11th to 30th get Php 2,000 (about $31) off and free Tangojet earbuds worth Php 1,699 (about $27). Walk-in buyers get the same discount from November 11th to 30th, and the earbuds on purchases from November 11th to December 31st.
